Special Issue Introduction
Rejuvenation of the periorbital region is often the first cosmetic surgery procedure in one’s life and one of the most popular and carried out procedure in aesthetic medicine. Eyelid surgeries are one of the TOP 5 plastic-aesthetic procedures in 2016. Yet in the last years new trends are outlined, such as the skin and muscle saving, muscle and fat augmentation belapharoplasty, periorbital fat sculpture, canthopexy and canthoplasty, minimal skin pinch excision blepharoplasty and maximal reconstructions with midface corrections.
