Editors of PAR Attended the 7th Military Plastic Surgery Conference

The 7th Military Plastic Surgery Conference, hosted by Tang du and Xi jing Hospitals, took place in Xi’an, China, from October 22-25, 2015. The conference focused on the latest research and promoted new developments in plastic and aesthetic areas. Several prominent experts at home and abroad were invited to present on plastic surgery and aesthetics. Three editors of Plastic and Aesthetic Research (PAR) attended the conference under the lead of Professor Yan-Pu Liu, an associate editor of PAR.

As one of the invited speakers, Liu briefly introduced the purpose, history, and current state of PAR, including the changes in publication frequency and publication process. Additionally, Liu called for support of the journal. The attendees offered high praise for the future of PAR and indicated they would contribute manuscripts and promote the journal among peers.

In sum, the editorial staff of PAR learned about new techniques, progress in the field, and current research. The editorial board and staff are committed to publishing a timely and preeminent international journal.
